March 13, 2011 A familiar site for these two teams meeting each other in the States. Last year Assabet won in the Championship game, this year they would meet in the semi-finals. Despite working off the penalty kill for most of the first period they were able to keep Assabet scoreless. Then the Spitfires went up 2-0 before Assabet would score and get back into the game. Then it seemed like Assabet got the chance to show their penalty kill skills and the game ended in a 2-1 win for the Spitfires, sending them on to meet the Wizards who defeated Charles River 5-0 in their semi-final match.
