This was a hard fought game at Concord Valley Sports. With some outstanding play by the Spitfire team, never giving up and putting the pressure on the first goal came at the end of the second period. It would remain that way and both teams solid on the penalty kill, the last penalty of the game went against the spitfires and they held on. With the Assabet goal empty the first open netter attempt would be icing, and then on the second attempt it would be good to solidity the win 2-0 in their house.
