Welcome to Lansing MI, to the first ever Tier II National Championships. Our first game was against the Erie Lady Lions representing Mid American Division. Our first game was at the Summit in Dimondale MI about 10 miles from the Hotel. 2 lines and 2 goalies the girls started off a little slow but started finding the net to get a 4-0 lead by the end of the first period. No ice and a short bench, add 17 minute periods and you got some tired girls. They were able to add 4 more in the second and then another 4 to come away with a 12-0 win. Our power play never got any work, but one of our forwards would get called for two trips and our penalty kill got a little work. Off to a team dinner, ice cream and then bed for a 8:20 game tomorrow
