The New Spitfires, The first look at the New Spitfire players two returning form successful freshman college seasons, and three off to college. The Candian team came out very physical in the first few minutes. They took one penalty but were the first to score. We would tie it up quickly and then go on a roll taking the Oakville Jr. Hornets off thier game. The rally would end in the 2nd half us up 5-1 then with 14:30 left in the game they would get back on thier physical game as the refs put away the whistles. It was looking like it might end badly but with some aggressive play of our own the girls kept them to only two goals in the 2nd half for the 5-3 win.
