Saturday afternoon August 23rd. The Global tank was pretty much empty with the Spitfires scoring 4 quick unanswered goals. Coach called a time out and gave the girls a peptalk, which seemed to work but the first period would end 7-0. We saw some life in the beginning of the second and it was a game for a while when #6 scored our loan goal and we kept the pressure on for a while then the Goalie had to go to work again and the Global team dropped a few more before it was over.
