Southfield vs. New Hampton School NH Feb 4, 2009
Southfield visited the out door rink of the New Hampton Huskies, at least it was sunny. Scoring started early with the first goal on our second shift less than 3 minutes into the game. The huskies had few chances but in a scramble in front of the net with people on the ice and the puck just out of Howie’s reach it ended up in our net and we would finish the period with a 3-1 lead. The second period was almost scoreless until with 40 seconds left we would put one more in. The third period started off with another to make it 5-1 in the first 19 seconds and they continued to pound the goalie and put in another 4 goals for a 9-1 win.
This is a very tough rink to take photo's in because of the lights and the direct sun. If anyone wants a photo from this gallery please let me know and I will work on the color correction before you buy it. - Doug
