New Hampshire and Maine got hit with a ice storm that put took out power lines and phone lines, the Rink was fine and we made the trip. Greenwich was here before us and game was set to go on as scheduled. Southfield delivered first and then shortly later the game was tie as the girls returned to the locker room. Second period would have GA make it 3-1 just seconds before going back to the locker room. Southfield went down one more before they found the net again and then fighting back down 4-2 quickly made it 4-3 and there was some excitement as we pulled our goalie with a few minutes left and GA would take a penalty. The GA goalie held strong to give GA the 4-3 win in the end. Our hotel we planned on staying in was still closed and without power, we travelled over to York Maine, where the Best Western had electricity, no phone and no TV like most of this part of the Northeast... Ruby's pizzaria was packed and they all had a good meal and off to bed around 10 pm.. I hope Dunkin Donuts is open in the morning we have a late breakfast and back to the rink for two more games.
