Still stinging from the game from last year a lot of prep went into this game, Governers would put one on the board first only to be answered by one from Southfield. With a power play the Gov's would send the Southfield girls to the loker room down by one. Quickly in the second they would tie it 2-2 with a blast from the blue line. Two more for Gov's in the second and it would not be until the start of the 3rd period that the Southfield girls would bring it back to 3-4 3 minutes in.
