Southfield and Gov’s the rematch! Last time they met was in March for the Championship game where #19 would score all 4 goals in the 4-0 loss for Southfield. They were not going to let that happen again. Gov’s would however put 2 in during the first period and own pretty much stayed in the perimeter in the Southfield end. Southfield would make it interesting and make it 2-1 by the end of the second and go to the locker room looking upbeat. Gov’s would take advantage of a Southfield Penalty early in the 3rd and a few quick goals put us on our heels and finish off by giving Southfield its first loss of the 09-10 season.
