The season has started, a little late due to the success of the Field Hockey and Soccer teams making it to the Playoffs.. First day on the ice and the squad took on the Bay State Breakers and spirits were high as the Southfield girls tried to impress the coaching staff. Southfield had twice the numbers on the bench and got off to a good start by putting 4 in on their own veteran goal tender. Then things settled down and switched up goalies. All said and done the girls in blue put the puck in the visitors net 5 times, but the game was up and down the ice and the young Breaker squad is going to be a team to watch.
