Girls have been off for the holiday break, you always wonder what they will come out like on the first game back.. This team showed their stuff by going up 1-0 1:34 into the first period. Then they popped number 2 in just 62 seconds later on a strong play busting out of our zone and going hard to the net and some good passing. The refs were calling some penalties today and our defense took their fair share. The Knights would not capitalize on any of them even the 5 on 3 that we gave them. In fact with the Knight goalie behind their net trying to set up the puck our hard skating paid off as #3 wrapped the net took the puck from the goal and set up goal #3. Knights would put one on the board with just over 3 minutes left to go and then Southfield would make it 4-1 shortly after
