Pirates come to Laconia again. The last two games the Leafs scored in the first minute of the game but not today. It would be the case today but they did get on the board first with just over 6 minutes to go. With two in the box it was looking like they would kill both penalties, then just after they got one out of the box the Pirates would capitalize and send the teams to the locker rooms with a 1-1 tie. The game was pretty flat as the leafs were putting sporadic efforts out in the 3rd game of the weekend. The leafs goalie looked like he is back in top form kept them in the game but they could not come up with anymore goals today and the Pirates second goal would be enough and they would top it off with an open net goal for the final 3-1 loss for the Leafs at home on Super Bowl Sunday.
