This scrimmage was set up to show the coach what the players had in them after two weeks of training camp. Just 4 days before the season opener. The pace seemed slower than the players and the coaches wanted for today. They would keep trading goals with the Ice Dogs until the 3rd period when they would pop in 4 unanswered goals as 6 of the players watched from the sidelines on the injured reserve list.
