This is the NESCAC and stick around long enough and you will learn anything can happen. We saw it this weekend with two hot goalies a total of 3 goals in 6 periods, plus two OT periods. I thought Saturdays match up would produce a different result. The Continentals came to play and came to win. The speed and determination showed as the girls stepped on the ice. They went down by 1 in the second period and then came right back to tie it up again. They still managed to deliver over 30 shots and some quality ones at that two day total SOG 74 but only one goal to show for it. Trinity came out physical and gave us 3 power plays in the first and even a 3 on 5 for about 30 seconds but we could not break through the goalie. Plenty of great plays by several girls, it had to be the fastest game this season with a few of our players setting the tone. After a sweep weekend, we took one point and stay in 4th place after this 1-1 tie game at Sage Rink.
