Continentals were hoping for a repeat of last year win over Middlebury. The Panthers played the big ice taking advantage of every inch. The started the game off by hanging a forward deep and even sometimes in our zone. They also worked our line changes by going deep to the other side. It seemed like they got every bounce and we lost everyone until the 3rd period. Panthers went on the board first on a power play goal in the first. We were able to put some pressure on the Panther goalie but not until late in the second did we beat her on a sweet goal to make it 4-1 and the girls seemed to get upbeat, but Middlebury answered that with the equalizer. The third period it looks like Middlebury changed their game plan and we had more opportunities but could not capitalize and loose this one 6-1.
