We struggled on the first couple of shifts to get any offences pressure going, Trinity would strike first with just under 4 minutes into the game shoving a puck past our goalie amongst 7 players in front of our net. Then with just under 3 minutes, intercepting a pass at center ice they would put in all they needed by beating our goalie stick side. Then on a delayed penalty the final goal would come at 6:59 in the second period. Our final goal of the season would come with 4:13 left in the second period to make it 3-1. #22 finally broke loose from a hold that the ref was yelling at the girl to let her goal, she broke loose crashed the net and delivered the puck to the back of the net. I think the ref’s found their whistles when it came to us as the penalty kill squads got a lot of work, with over 2 minutes defending a 5 on 3 in the third. I had to shoot through the glass so the pictures are a little blurrier than normal.
