Wow, what a game. We have proven time again this season that we are a second half team. Come from behinds and total control of OT for the most part. The last 3 times Blue has played the Heron’s it went to OT and this came down to the wire. William Smith would score with just 7:08 left in the first half. The Continentals took a little longer than usual to warm up and then they put the pressure on, but it would not be until about 40 minutes later with just 2:42 left in the Season before they would tie it up. One OT down, which we dominated possession and turned back their pressure, Catie went down just before time ran out in the first OT. It would not take long in the 2nd OT where we would take possession in our end, pass from #15 to #9 then #16, some great moves along the way and then all of a sudden our season is extended with a 2-1 win and a trip to Skidmore on Saturday.
